Alvin T. Rutter

Alvin T. Rutter, 68, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 5:23pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at FairHoPe Hospice, The Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born August 8, 1954 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Melvin and Geraldine Hiles Rutter.

Alvin loved living in the country, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Los Angeles Lakers and most importantly his family.

Survived by daughter, Emily Binkley; grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob and Derek; girlfriend, Lorane Perkins; sisters, Dian Lynch and Judy Griffith; brothers, Mike and Jeff Rutter; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Rutter; brothers, Tom, Mark, Donald, John and Andy Rutter; sister, Loretta Goshorn.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 12noon on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the funeral home with Deacon Mark Weiner officiating.

Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.

A Luncheon will be held following the burial at the Gathering Place (Dodson’s) in New Lexington, Ohio.
