Ardrey V. Hinkle, Jr.

Ardrey V. Hinkle Jr. of Saltillo joined his wife and daughter in Heaven on Tuesday November 8, 2022. He was born in Pleasant Township, Perry County, Ohio on December 2, 1942, to the late Ardrey Sr. and Thelma Garey Hinkle.

Over the years, Jr. worked at several local businesses, including Sidwell’s Stone Quarry and Ludowici. He finished his working years as a partner of Creamer Seamless Gutter. Jr. enjoyed spending time outdoors tinkering with old mower engines, mushroom hunting, and gardening/canning vegetables with Carolyn.

He is survived by his son Steve (Kathy) Hinkle; grandchildren Steven Jr. (Kristin) Hinkle, Emily Hinkle, Uriah Creamer, and Jessicah (Joey) Patete; seven great grandchildren; sister Janice (George) Brainard; brothers Jack (Karen), Ed (Kathy), and Bill (Madonna) Hinkle; special companion Squints, his cat.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn; daughter Cindy and son-in-law Rory “Ruff” Creamer; sisters Patty Ratliff, Mildred Randolph, Sandra Kinney, Rose Anderson, and Kathy Hinkle; brother Sam Hinkle.

Per his request, no calling hours will be observed. Jr. and Carolyn will be laid to rest at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
