Arthur M. Sturgill, 69, of Corning, Ohio died at 6:52am on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the home of his sister in Crooksville, Ohio.
Born April 21, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Winford Richard and Pauline Triplett Sturgill.
Mick was a member of the National Guard and Army Reserves; Saint Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington; the Turkey Federation, MWTF; Disabled Veterans Outdoors and the Perry County Anglers; he loved fishing.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Bonnie McGill Sturgill; two sons, Christopher W. Sturgill and Richard E. (Leonida) Johnson; daughters, Andrea M. Sturgill Cordray and Sarah A. Sturgill; grandchildren, Ethan R. Clark, Avonna R. Ellison, Elia R. Ellison and Abigail Sturgill; brothers and sisters, Sherry M. (Robert) Boggs, Pamela (John) Halsey, Winford “Rick” (Julie) Sturgill, Jr., Robert Gregory (Shirley) Sturgill and Jeffery L. (Debbie) Sturgill; sister-in-law, Tonja Sturgill; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a grandson, Ivan Lee Sturgill; brother and sisters, Esther Lynn Haines, Madonna Gail Finns and Maney Phillip Sturgill.
Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, corner of North Main and West Water Streets, New Lexington, Ohio.
Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Portersville, Ohio.
