Arvil Eugene Searles, 79, of Glenford, Ohio died at 3:35pm on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Genesis Emergency Department-Perry County Medical Center, Somerset, Ohio.

 Born March 24, 1941 In Millertown, Ohio to the late William and Violet Plant Searles.

Arvil was a United States Army Veteran; a carpenter and he loved playing cards and hunting with his family.

Survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Syx Searles; children, Tina (Jim) Bush, Allen (April) Searles, Mary (Michael) Johnson, Jonathan Searles and Kathy (Mark) Keck; 5 grandchildren, James, Brady, Hunter, Tyler and Katie; 2 great-grandchildren, James and Charlotte; 1 sister, Gloria (Albert) Pettet.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with Military Services by John Tague Post #188, American Legion Services at 1:00pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
