Barbara L. (Penrod) Bolden

Barbara L. Bolden, 73 of New Lexington, Ohio left this world to be in Heaven with the Lord and long lost family at 5:26 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the New Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born February 15, 1949 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Arthur G. Sr. and Esther P. Dusenberry Penrod.

Barbara loved moments of peace and laughter with a good cup of coffee. She also enjoyed music, movies, crossword puzzles, pets, looking at pictures, and precious time with friends and family. Everyone who knew Barbara loved her and she loved them just as much. 

She is survived by sons, Michael Penrod and Robby Bolden; sister, Karen Hinkle; and grandchildren, Lane Penrod, Jaymison Fealty and Josslyn Conrad.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Bolden; brothers, Arthur Penrod, Jr. and Paul E. Penrod and her beloved daughter, Lisa M. Bolden.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Don Harris officiating on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at the New Lexington Cemetery.
