Barbara L. (Nash) Spicer

Barbara L Spicer of New Lexington, Ohio went home to the Lord surrounded by her family at 12:52pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Pickering House, FairHoPe Hospice, Lancaster, Ohio       

Born July 23, 19?? in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Albert Nash and Thelma Hammer Lyons.

Barbara was a homemaker, member of the Community Holiness Church of New Lexington; Barbara was a joy and completely loved by her entire family and many friends, she never met a stranger; she loved playing cards and aggregation; she had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and make people smile.

Survived by her husband of 71 years, Clyde W. Spicer; sons Steve Spicer, Rick (Barbara) Spicer, Michael (Anita) Spicer daughters, Kathie (Charles) Whitlock, Kimberly Spicer, Karla (Daniel) Renick all of New Lexington, sister, Marilyn Masterson; brothers; Roger Nash, Ronald (Kathy) Nash, Steve (Donna) Nash, 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a grandson, Kyle Spicer and sister-in-law, Marguerite “Goog” Nash.

Private calling hours and services will be held with burial in New Lexington Cemetery.

Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the Community Holiness Church, 120 Thorn Street, New Lexington, Ohio for a Celebration of her Life at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
