Beatrice L. (Wilson) Kaufman

Beatrice L. Kaufman, 90, of Thornville, Ohio died at 7:30pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home.

Born January 20, 1931 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Michael Wilson and Thelma Scott Wilson Reed.

Mrs. Kaufman worked at Ohio Bell and PNC Bank; operated their own business of Kaufman Sanitation; she was an avid quilter and loved her gardening flowers.

Survived by a son, Steve (Michell) Kaufman; daughter, Teresa (Butch) Hook; grandchildren, Kyle (Melinda) Kaufman, Katie (Russell) Fox, Kari (Eric) Hartley, Stacy Chalfant (Bill Walters) and Kimberly (Missy) Hook; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Margie, Marie and Kathy; 2 brothers, Jim and George; special cousin, Patty Scott and special quilting friend, Sally George.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her step-father, George Reed; husband, Richard G. Kaufman; twin brother, Michael; brother, Clyde and 2 infant sisters.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
