Belinda Ellen LeRoy “Lynn”
Born in Zanesville Ohio June 2, 1967. Grew up in New Lexington Ohio. Graduate of New Lexington High School and Bradford Business College.
Survived by Roger Fleer domestic partner of 27 years, Sister Joyce (Todd) Harris, Brother Wayne “Stoney” (Sue) LeRoy, Niece Autumn (Caleb) Funk, Nephew Joshua (Amy) Sprankle, Walker (Darbie) Harris, Great Niece and Nephew Andrew, Ava, Adley Lou, Timmy and Aly. Her best friend Chris and Howdy and all the other great friends she had in her life. She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony “Butch” LeRoy and Linda LeRoy.
Lynn lost her life in a brief battle with cancer.
Lynn always enjoyed relaxing while reading her collection of Romance Novels. She always enjoyed making quilts, canning fruits and vegetables, and making crafts for family and friends. Lynn was always friendly to strangers and co-workers and ready to lend a hand if needed. She always looked forward to spring to plant a garden and other flowers and shrubs. Lynn always looked forward to the holidays to spend time with family and friends. She would spend hours decorating 2 Christmas trees with hundreds of decorations. Lynn was always ready for summer to spend weekends at her vacation spot on the Muskingum River. From cooking on the open fire to inviting friends and family for the weekend of boating and good times. Costume parties, Ramp rallies, riding 4 wheelers, fishing, and floating down the river were the norm at the river. Lynn had a love affair with the water, she enjoyed swimming, snorkeling in the Caribbean, house boating in Kentucky, White water rafting in Colorado, and floating down the river in tubes. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the US and Caribbean. Many vacations were taken every year. She was also up for traveling on the back of a motorcycle and eventually purchased her own motorcycle. Many trips were taken by motorcycle to National Parks, Canada, and other states. Lynn did however have a problem with riding in the rain. Lynn enjoyed the simple things in life, from a crisp and color full sunrise to a brilliant and relaxing sunset, and the fog swirling in the morning off the river.
Lynn chose a career in accounting; she worked for Cardinal and Capmark Real Estate management companies and was employed as a Staff Accountant with the Federal Government.
Lynn was a bright and warm flame that was snuffed out way too early. She will be missed immensely.
For those of us who knew and loved her, we will miss our friend, fellow camper, boater, coworker, rider, baby sister and lover the rest of our days.
Love you Lynn
