Benjamin Lowder

Benjamin L. Lowder, Jr., 48, of Newark, Ohio died Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at his home in Newark, Ohio.

Born May 10, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Benjamin Lowder Sr. and Melanie Knight Lowder Knapp of Newark.

Benjamin’s passion was his family and music. He was a loving son, husband and step dad. Benjamin was the winner of the Perry County Idol at the Perry County Fair.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Melanie (Stephen) Knapp; wife, Tammy Lowder; six step children; several step grandchildren; two brothers; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step sister; grandparents, Ronda and Danny Stuller, Mable and Ray Lowder.

Calling hours will held 10am-1pm with funeral services at 1:00pm with Pastor Terry Muncy officiating on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at Community Gardens Cemetery in New Lexington, Ohio.
