Betty J. (Morgan) Jones

Betty J. Jones, 85 of New Lexington, Ohio died at 6:00 am on Monday, June 7, 2021 at her home.

Born July 20, 1935 in Greendale, Ohio to the late Ray & Laura C. Gill Morgan.

She was a member of the South Main Street Church of Christ; loved flowers, babies and going to church.

Survived by her children, Brenda (Ernie) Starling, Susan (Steve) Anderson and daughter-in-law, Diane Jones; grandchildren, Wendy (Jason) Huffman, Holly (Chad) Posey, Heidi (Josh) Starr, Jeremy Ellis, Jake (Angie) Jones, Caleb Jones, Trent Anderson, Adam (Heather) King, Kayla King, Dakota (Chase) McNeish and  Nevin (Maria) Anderson; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and one on the way; sisters, Joann Chevalier and Cheryl (Ron) Huffines; brothers, Ray (Stephanie) Morgan, Jr., Wyle (Mary) Riggs and Earl Riggs.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William J. Jones; son, Jeff Jones; brothers and sisters, Gladys Nutter, Irene Kinnison, Manley Morgan, Gerald Morgan, Gail Freemen, Madge Euman, Genevieve Jones, Dick Morgan, Jack Morgan, Eura Thompson, William Riggs and step-mother, Middie Morgan.

Calling hours will be from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021 and from 10-11am on Friday at the South Main Street Church of Christ, 7 Smith Street, New Lexington, Ohio

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 11, 2021at the church with Joshua Starr officiating.

Burial will be follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
