Bonnie Joyce (Reed) Crabtree

Bonnie Joyce Reed Crabtree, 89 of Hemlock, Ohio went to heaven to be with the Lord and many loved ones  at 2:56pm On Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born December 28, 1931 in Columbus, Oho to the late Clark and Lillie Wells Reed.

Bonnie loved the lord with all her heart and Loved and Adored her children. They were so precious to her. She told them all she loved them and prayed for them. She always said, “I know I will see them in Heaven some day.”

Bonnie was married to Earl Crabtree on September 22, 1947 for almost 59 years. They had three sons, Danny (Rita) of Columbus, Ricky D. of Logan and Randy “Earl” (Connie) of Hemlock. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Richard (Sheri), James (Melinda), Kimberly Davis, Tonya Carlise, Tammy Ross, Gina Bertram, Jeremiah Crabtree. Several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and other relatives and a loving church full of people that was opened in Hemlock the 4th of July weekend in 1981.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Earl Crabtree; 4 sisters, Susie, Rose, Margaret and Lorraine; brother, Jack; daughter-in-law, Judy and a great-grandson, Billy.

Calling hours will be held from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend Layne Cheney and Reverend Mike Moler officiating.

Burial will follow in Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery.
