Bonnie Jo (McGill) Sturgill

Bonnie Jo Sturgill, 67, of Corning, Ohio died at 8:30 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at her home.

Born July 14, 1955 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Merrill and Helen Russell McGill.

She was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church; loved fishing, drawing, arts, camping and spending time with her grandchildren; she loved life.

Survived by her daughters, Andrea M. Sturgill Cordray and Sarah A. Sturgill; sons, Christopher Sturgill and Richard (Leonida) Johnson; grandchildren, Ethan R. Clark, Avonna R. Ellison, Elia R. Ellison and Abigail Sturgill; brother, Steve (Diana) McGill.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Arthur M. Sturgill; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Bishop and Carolyn Frame; brother-in-law, Tim Frame and a grandson, Ivan Lee Sturgill.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

A small service will be held at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Reverend Rick Sturgill officiating followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 309 North Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Todd Lehigh and Deacon Mark Weiner as celebrants.
