Carolyn S. (Koonts) Hoops

Carolyn S. Hoops, 71, of Junction City, Ohio died at 8:08pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, Ohio.

Born March 16, 1950 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Harry and Mary D. Whitaker Koonts.

Carolyn loved to bake, cook, read, and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by her children, Gina (Harley) Adkins, Kevin Hoops and Billie Hoops; grandchildren, David, Andy. Tyler, Mark and Austin; 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Mandy Munyan, Robert, Charlie, Freddy, Harry,  Mary Jane Groves, Rebecca Garey, Ruth Reed, Paul and Alfred; an infant son, Casey Shipley.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
