Chad Ray Obituary

Chad Ellis Ray, 41, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 6:12pm on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Genesis-Perry County Medical Center Emergency Department in Somerset, Ohio.

 

Born February 1, 1980 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Charles Ray, Sr. and Mary Rose Ray.

Chad attended the McLuney Wesleyan Church; he loved hunting, fishing, berry picking, mushroom hunting and basically anything outdoors but most importantly he loved his children.

Survived by his mother, Mary Ray; sons, Bradley Ray, Mason Ray and Hunter Lundberg; daughters, McKenzie Ray, Mary Ann Ray and Alexcia Ray; grandson, Jackson Lundberg; brother, Charles (Amy) Ray, Jr. and sisters, Tammy (Jeff) Houston and Crystal (Jason) Iiams; girlfriend, Brittany Vanmeter; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 10am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm with Reverend John Jividen officiating on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
