Charles "Chuck" Cox, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Cox Jr. died at 12:12pm on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio.

Born August 6, 1949 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Charles E. and Betty J. Wintgens Cox.

Chuck loved fishing and taking bike rides, tractor pulls, demolition derbies and Dolly Parton. He never met a stranger and he loved to talk to people.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Deborah Argo; daughters, Lisa Cox and Sandra Cox; grandchildren, Michael Llewellyn, Elizabeth Llewellyn, Austin Cox and Joshua Llewellyn; great-grandchildren, Tatum, Grayson, Brayden and Paisley; sisters, Diane Shiplett and Brenda (Dave) Eveland; father-in-law, Doyle Argo and his cat, Smokie

Calling hours will be held 4-7pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the funeral home with Todd Shiplett officiating.

Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Portersville, Ohio.
