Clara Mae McCauley, 81, of New Lexington passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side, on July 21, 2024 at Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.
She was born on January 2, 1943 to the late Ferdinand (Pete) and Anna Dumolt. Clara was an incredibly devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed farming and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George McCauley. Three sons Richard (Michelle) McCauley, Darren (Amy) McCauley and Brian (Jennifer) McCauley and one daughter Karen (Brian) Danison. Grandchildren Whitney (Dave) Stenson, Taylor (James) Diskin, Patrick (Kathleen) McCauley, Nicholas Darrah, Olivia McCauley, Mason McCauley, Sophia McCauley, Gavin McCauley, Cory Haberkamp, Ashley (Dustin) Syphers, Brittany (Gary) Pettit, Brooke (Clint) Cannon, Devin Haberkamp, sister Donna Miller and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grand-daughter Madelyn Paige McCauley, two sisters (Bea McCauley & Alice Gillette) and two brothers (Steve Dumolt & Tom Dumolt)
Friends may visit from 11:00 am – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday July 25, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street New Lexington, Ohio.
A brief grave side service will follow at Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
