Clyde Spicer, 93, of New Lexington, Ohio went home to the Lord surrounded by his loving children at 11:20pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Pickering House, FairHoPe Hospice, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born October 22, 1930 in Bristol, Ohio to the late William and Manila Spicer.
Clyde lived a life we should celebrate, he served our great country in the United States Air Force, was married 71 years to Barbra, the love of his life, raised 6 children that love God, welcomed into this world numerous grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Clyde had a laugh that we will never forget. He was member of John Tague Post #188 American Legion, New Lexington, Ohio and a member of The Community Holiness Church, New Lexington.
Survived by his sons; Steve Spicer, Rick (Barbara) Spicer, Michael (Anita) Spicer and Roger (Goober) Nash whom he considered his fourth son, daughters, Kathie (Charles) Whitlock, Kimberly Spicer, Karla (Daniel) Renick, numerous grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Spicer, grandson Kyle Spicer, brothers, Verlon Spicer, Floyd Spicer, sisters Eva Nutter, Eunice Walker, and Helen Kuse.
Private calling hours and services will be held with burial in the New Lexington Cemetery
