Cynthia Ann (DeBerry) Lovejoy

Cynthia Ann Lovejoy, 76, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 10:48am on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at her home.

Born on May 4, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Meredith and Elizabeth Benson Deberry.

She retired from Perry County Veterans Service Communications after 25 years of working as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to that she worked for the Ohio Army National Guard in New Lexington and Zanesville, Ohio. She was a member of New Lexington Methodist Church, F.O. Eagles #2070 of New Lexington, Ohio, American Legion Auxiliary #29 of Zanesville, Ohio, Carnation Chapter #167, O.E.S.of New Lexington, Ohio and the New Lexington High School graduating class of 1967

Survived by husband of 9 years, Ron Lovejoy; grandchildren, Tyler (Erika) Pargeon and Lucas (Tess) Pargeon; Children, Adam Lovejoy, Tiffany McFee, Shannon Stoner and Angela Ward; 12 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents preceded in death by daughter, Heather DeBerry Pargeon; first husband, Jerry LaMay; siblings, Betty DeBerry Penrod, Carolyn DeBerry Coil, Billy Ray DeBerry and infant twin sister.  

Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025 and from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating.  

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio
