Donald Alfman

Donald Alfman, 85, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 1:56pm on Thursday, Decmber 9, 2021 at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born December 11, 1935 in Corning, Ohio to the late William and Thelma Bowen Alfman.

Donald was a retired coalminer; he liked to go hunting and fishing and do gardening.

Survived by his wife of 61 years, Cora McCloy Alfman; sons, Donald Alfman, Jr., Troy (Peggy) O’Neal Alfman and Mark Alfman; daughter, Robin Alfman; grandchildren, Justin and Keyle Alfman, Melanie and Gage Harris, Latoya Groh, Michelle Alfman, Jordan Wolfe and Jeremy Alfman; several great-grandchildren and a special dog, Baby.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by sons, Rick and James Alfman; granddaughter, Taylor Wolfe; brother, Leonard Gene Alfman; sister, Barbara Jean Gaddis.

Graveside Funeral Service and Burial will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Oakfield Cemetery with Chaplin Bill Blair officiating.
