Donald M. Clark (Clarkie), 81 of New Lexington, Ohio died at 8:55pm on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Morrison Hospice House in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born June 30, 1941 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Roy and Daverna Hill Clark.

Donald graduated from New Lexington High School in 1957 and retired from Kroger’s after 39 years of service.

Survived by his wife of 22 years, Nancy; 2 sons, Micah Clark and family, Pete and Stacy Clark and family; daughter, BethAnn and Randy Patterson and family; one sister, Ruth Havens; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous cousin, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Bill and twin brother Ronnie; sister, Pat.

Don was a member of the Elks, the Eagles and the American Legion. He enjoyed his morning coffee with his friends at Sleepy’s in Crooksville. Don was a very social guy fondly known to wife Nancy as “chats”. Loved his family, friends, farm and cattle.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-8pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating.
