Donald Lee “Smokey” Starner, 45, of New Lexington, Ohio died Saturday, June 29, 2024 in New Lexington, Ohio.

Born August 30, 1978 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Delbert and Jacquelyn Billman Starner.

Donald was a devoted Cincinnati Bengals fan; he loved the people around him and was always the loudest in the room. He loved his family and especially his sons.

Survived by his sons, Dillon Starner and Dominic Starner; their mother, Vanessa Vega; bonus boys, Chris and Michael Veron; their mother, Danielle Klingler; brother, Dusty Starner; 2 sisters, Kathy and Lisa Starner; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his brother, Delbert Starner, Jr.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm with funeral service at 7pm on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
