Donna M. (Wolfe) Chaffin

Donna M. Chaffin, 85, of New Lexington went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 31st, 2024 at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born on April 12th, 1939 to the late Ralph and Rose Saunders Wolfe.

Donna was a devout member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of New Lexington and was known as the “candy lady.” An active member of the New Lexington High School class of 1957; she worked at Bryant’s, Higbee and Riviera Cabinets; she enjoyed Hallmark movies, puzzles and reading.

Donna was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; survived by daughters, Deb (Tim) Shaffer and Diane Pniewski; son, William (Sharon) Chaffin; grandchildren, Chris (Jody) Shaffer, Dan (Marnie) Shaffer, Kathryn ( Kevin)  Pniewski- Dix, Nicholas Pniewski, Clayton Chaffin and Audra ( Devin) McGee; great-grandchildren Colton, Emersyn, Freddie, Frances, Nolan; many cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Monday November 4th, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street New Lexington, Ohio and from 10am-11am on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at the church.

Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday November 5th, 2024 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 215 E Broadway Street, New Lexington Ohio.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery
