Dorothy (Stickdorn) Altier

Dorothy Altier, 90, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 4:40 pm on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her home.

Born October 5, 1927 in Moxahala, Ohio to the late F.B. and LuLu Mae Dutiel Stickdorn.

She was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; a great woman who loved to sew and quilt.

Survived by her husband of 69 years, Nicholas “Dusty” Altier, two children, Sherry Poling and Steve Altier; sons-in-law, Steve Finley, and Bob Poling; six grandchildren, Staci Joseph, married to Tom Joseph, Spencer Finley, married to Darcy Finley, Stori Atchison, married to Dion Atchison, Tyler Altier, Sage Householder, married to Keelia Householder and Evan Altier; fifteen great-grandchildren, Briana Joseph, Nathan Joseph, Alese Finley, MayLynn Finley, Nicholas Finley, Danielle Joseph, Hayden Finley, Xaiver Altier, Caleb Joseph, Chance Householder, Peyton Atchison, Cooper Altier, Clay Householder, Westin Atchison and Caycen Atchison.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Altier Finley.

Calling hours will held from 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon and Father C.M. Haddad officiating.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
