Eddy Jay Buck

Eddy Jay Buck, 66 of Shreve, Ohio, formerly of New Lexington, Ohio died at 9:33am Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home.

Born April 2, 1956 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Benny Buck and Barbara Craig Buck of New Lexington.

Eddy was a veteran of the United States Navy; loved to take rides, hours on end; travel, NASCAR and The Cleveland Browns; loved his family, family get togethers, especially the food.

Survived by his wife of 43 years, Laura Redfern Buck; daughter, Keyla Buck; his Mother, siblings, Charma (Doug) DuPerow of New Lexington, Cindy (Jeff) Savage of Atlanta, Candice (Steven) Cox of New Lexington; Jim (Laura) Buck of Avon, Belinda Buck (John McGaughey) of Junction City and Brenda (Joe) Hobbs of Enon; fill in dad to Jamie Hershberger; several nieces and nephews and several in-laws from Perry County.

In addition to his Father, preceded in death by two nephews, Liam Hobbs and Sean Savage.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28. 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Pastor Tim Poling officiating.

Burial will follow at the New Lexington Cemetery with graveside military services by the John Tague Post #188, American Legion, New Lexington.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his hometown of Shreve, Ohio at a later date.
