Edward Vincent "Ed" Boley

Edward Vincent “Ed” Boley of New Lexington, OH died peacefully in Fairhope Hospice on November 26, 2021, in Lancaster, OH at the age of 75.

Ed was born on November 4, 1946, in Somerset, OH to Thomas and Sarah (Stalter) Boley. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1966 and married Florence “Margie” Fielder that same year.

Ed retired from Cooper-Standard in 2018 where he was a maintenance mechanic.

He is survived by the love of his life of 55 years and wife, Margie Boley; children, Melissa Seymour and husband Rob of Westerville, OH, Edward “Eddie” Boley and wife Tammy from Lancaster, OH, and Kimberly Baker and husband Kenneth from League City, TX; siblings, Jane Olson of Bellville, OH, Rita Jones, of Gratiot, OH, Margret Frisbee from West Jefferson, OH as well grandchildren Jacob (Harlie) Seymour, Andrew Schrader, Jillian (Tyler) Hammel, Gabriel Schrader, Kaitlyn Baker, Caleb Schrader, Colin Baker, and Braeden Boley. He is also survived by his beloved dog Bella.

He is preceded in death by parents, sisters, Anna Lyons, Catherine Cooper, Mary Colburn, and grandson Trenton Schrader.

The visitation will be Monday, November 29, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home in New Lexington, OH. Rev. James Fielder will officiate the funeral Tuesday, November. 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM, also at Roberts-Winegardner.  There will be a viewing from 1:00-2:00 before the funeral.  Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
