Edward T. Boley

Edward T. “Eddie” Boley, 57, of Lancaster, passed away at his home Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He was born January 16, 1969, in Zanesville, the son of Florence M. (Fielder) Boley, and the late, Edward V. Boley. He married Tammy L. (Bush) Boley on October 5, 1990, and was a member of the New Life Christian Center in Lancaster, where he served as the former youth pastor for many years.

Eddie was a sports fanatic, and rooted for The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed riding in the car, and loved history. Eddie was a self-taught drummer, and used his talent for the church. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and brother, who greatly enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Eddie is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Tammy Boley; his son, Braeden Boley; two siblings, Melissa (Rob) Seymour and Kimberly (Kenneth) Baker; nieces and nephews, Jacob (Harlie) Seymour, Andrew Schrader, Jillian (Tyler) Hammel, Gabriel Schrader, Caleb Schrader, Kaitlyn Baker, and Colin Baker; three great nieces, Jade Hammel, Sofia Hammel and Blair Seymour; his special four legged family member, Teddy; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Friends may call Monday, June 22, 2026, from 10:00am-12:00pm, at New Life Christian Center, 2642 Columbus-Lancaster Road, Lancaster, Ohio, where funeral service will follow at 12:00pm with Bishop Gary Keller officiating. Eddie will be laid to rest in New Lexington Cemetery in New Lexington, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Life Christian Center Youth Department in Eddie’s memory.
