Elizabeth “Betty” Stemen, 85 of Junction City, Ohio died at 3:18am on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born June 24, 1935 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Lawrence & Helen Auker Poling.
She was a member of the Junction City United Methodist Church; worked at Clark’s Grocery for 54 years; a member of the Junction City Women of Faith; she loved to read, her grandkids & great-grandkids.
Survived by two daughters, Jan (Roger) Wells and Lisa Spohn Wilfing (Tim); grandchildren, Nathan (Lea Ann) Wells, Joshua (Courtney) Spohn, Cory Wells and Jason Spohn; great-grandchildren, Kai, Cooper, Carter, Owen and Aubrey; several special nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Sam) Crist and special friend, Wilma Gordon.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her first husband, John Bush; second husband, Charles Stemen; brothers, Ike (Marjorie) Poling, Don Poling and Frank Poling; sister, Eileen (Harry) Clark; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elmer and Ann Bush; brother-in-law, Jr. Bush.
Calling hours will be held from 4-8pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio and 10am-11am on Saturday.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Brandon Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Bremen, Ohio.
