Elsie Marie Miracle

Elsie Marie Singo Miracle, 94, of New Lexington, Ohio passed on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She has gone to her eternal home to be reunited with her late husband, Melvin Miracle whom she was married to for 71 years.

Born June 19, 1929 in Disney, Kentucky to the late Frank Singo and Josie Middleton Singo.

Elsie moved to New Lexington with her husband and two daughters in 1963. She was a homemaker, crafter and avid bowler.

Elsie loved her family and relished the time that was spent with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elsie spent most of her days in the kitchen. She enjoyed cooking, canning and baking. In her younger years she and her husband made wonderful memories on their fishing trips. She also spent many hours on her back porch watching the birds and deer that her husband fed.

Survived by her daughter Debbie (R.J.) Moore; grandchildren, Tara Moore and Cassi Gaddis; Great-grandchildren, Stella and Foster Heavener, Lincoln and Grayson Gaddis; nephews, Harold (Debbie) Steele of Glassforord, Illinois and Jeff (Jamie)Steele of Astoria, Illinois; nieces, Vicky (Mike) Treadway of Crooksville and Penny Gossman of New Lexington.

In addition to her parents and husband Melvin, she preceded in death by two daughters, Vestina Miracle and Teresa Miracle; sisters, Ovatena Kramer, Clodina Steele and Eulene Singo; brothers, Vestil Singo and Odell Singo; nephew, Mike Singo and best friend, Mona Vann.

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery.
