Evelyn L. (Deavers) Furney

Evelyn L. Furney, 84, of Thornville, Ohio died at 1:30am on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Altercare of Thornville, Ohio.

Born February 17, 1937 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Cyril and Sarah Jane Deavers.

Evelyn was a member of the Christian Union Church of Heath; she was very caring, had a big heart and a Mother to all.

Survived by 3 sons, Bob Furney, Jerry (Anna Miller) Furney and Kenny Furney; 1 grandson, Zachary Allen Furney.  

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Gene Charles Furney, twin infant sons and 2 sisters, Ardella Gifford and Rosalie Orr; brother, Kenny Deavers.  

Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm on Monday, March 1, 2021 with Chaplin Daniel Fullen officiating at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
