Floyd Alexander “Jabo” Caldwell, 72, of Junction City, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022.
Born on May 4, 1949, in Newport, Arkansas, son of the late C.E. Caldwell and Zelta Jane Lamb Welsh.
He was a member of Good Shepard church in Junction City, Ohio.
He worked at superior glass for 32 years where he was a spinner and bookkeeper. He was a member of the Junction City fire department for the past 43 years. He served as assistant chief and chief for many years. Jabo served as Santa for the American Legion, Post 376, for 35 years.
Survived by the love of his life, his wife Patsy Guffey Caldwell, they were married for 53 years, his son Franklin (Amanda) Caldwell, 3 granddaughters, Ali (Brandon Van Wey) Caldwell, Abbie Caldwell, Alexandria Caldwell, God daughter Lauren (Tyler) Lieser. Great granddaughter, Piper Magnolia Van Wey, great grandson, Henery Lieser, sister, Ann Taylor of Newport Arkansas, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his in laws, Albert Mildred Guffey, son, Charles E. Caldwell, daughter, Samantha K. Caldwell, brothers, Burl, Charles, Daniel , Austin, Robert Welsh, sisters Inez Duniean and Wanda Campbell.

Calling hours will be held from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Cline officiating.
Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction City, Ohio.
