Genevieve C. Kennedy

Genevieve C. Kennedy, 93, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 5:05am on Thursday October 24th, 2024 at Altercare of Somerset.

Born May 23rd, 1931 in Charleston, West Virginia to James and Mary Catherine White Quinn

Genevieve was a homemaker and known for her crocheted afghans and beautiful handmade quilts. She was a member of South Main Church of Christ in New Lexington, Ohio  

Survived by son, Gary (Kandi) Kennedy; daughter, Connie (Don) Horn; 6 grandchildren, Brian Kennedy, Shannon (Shane) White, Jennifer (Brian Miller) Compston, Derek (Amy) Horn, Denise Burnett and step grandson, Michael Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren, Brock, Blake and Bo White; Jaylynne, Drew, Drake and Lyla Horn; Ashley (Rhett) Jones and Haley Compston; Kyler, Konner and Kase Burnett and Michael Johnson Jr.; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Georgia Genevieve Jones and Maverick James McAuley.

In addition to her parents preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Charles Kennedy.

Calling hours will be held from 11am to 1pm with funeral service at 1pm with her Son-in-law, Don Horn officiating on Monday October 28th, 2024 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio 43764.

Burial will be in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
