Genevieve "Jude" Della Ashley

Genevieve Della “Jude” Ashley, 89, of Crooksville, Ohio died at 6:00pm on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the New Lexington Care & Rehabilitation Center, New Lexington, Ohio.

Born October 8, 1933 in Moxahala, Ohio to the late Harry Preston & Mary Elizabeth Shipley Ashley.

She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of New Lexington; she loved going to church, magazines, her coffee and all the kids.

Survived by her sister, Mary Magdalene (James) Sparks and brother, Harry Clifford (Marcia) Ashley; brother-in-law, Rev. H. Richard (Nancy) Young, whom she thought the world of; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Paulene (Bill) Hall, Harriett (Henry) Trussell, Charlotte Young, Carolyn (Rick) Howdyshell, James Ashley and Marsha (David) Stallings.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm with Reverend H. Richard Young officiating on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at the New Lexington Cemetery.
