Geraldine L. Avon

Geraldine L. Avon, 96, of New Lexington, Ohio died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Genesis Hospice in Zanesville, Ohio.

She was June 3, 1928 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Herman and Sylvia Isabelle Jadwin Stevens.

Geraldine loved being a housewife, drawing and she was a good speller.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diana Dickerson and Susan Avon; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Avon.

Calling hours will be held 10am-12pm with funeral services at 12:00pm with Pastor Timothy Poling officiating on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery in Rehoboth, Ohio.
