Howard Paul Bussey, Jr., 84, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 4:14pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his home.
Born January 18, 1937 in Roseville, Ohio to the late Howard Paul Bussey, Sr. and Elizabeth Arbuckle Bussey.
Howard was a United States Navy veteran; retired machinist from Lempco; Baptist by faith; his passion was the Lord and his Bible, he was very spiritual and prayed for everybody; loved music, guitars and singing, he went to various places to sing with his band and played at the jamboree; he loved all of his family.
Survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruth Abram Bussey; children, April Ross, Carla (Wesley) Vanmeter, Paula (Jeff) Shook, Candie (Richard) Gill, Sandy Swonger (John) Kokensparger and Lisa (Brian) Varney; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Joe Bussey; sister, Leah Wilson and special friend, Larry Skillman.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by brothers, Dale, Jim and Willis Bussey.
Calling hours will be held from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor James Anderson officiating on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Rehoboth Baptist Church, 5200 State Route 345, NE, New Lexington, Ohio.
Burial will follow in Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
