Ilene (Combs) Mullins

Ilene Mullins, 89, of Somerset, Ohio died at 8:00pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Altercare of Somerset, Ohio.

Born February 3, 1929 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Dennis and Edith Couch Combs.

Mrs. Mullins was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

Survived by 2 daughters, Linda (Don) Bell of New Lexington and Lynn (Tom) Martindale of Somerset; son, Van Mullins; 7 grandchildren, Jeff (Janice) Martindale, Angie (Kyle) O’Brien, Bryan Martindale, Jenny (Mike) McClenaghan, Richard Bell (Missy), Martin Bell and Elizabeth (Kevin) Elekes;  9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Katie Mullins of Hazard, KY and Phyllis Evelyn Couch of Michigan; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Martin Joseph “Jay” Mullins; daughter, Barb Mullins; son, Gregory J. Mullins; 2 grandsons, Christopher Mullins and Tom Tom Martindale; great-granddaughter, Bayleigh O’Brien; sisters, Johnnie Barnett, Roberta Ray, Lillie Thompson, Ann Couch and Violet Combs; brothers, Clyde and Leroy Combs.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon officiating.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
