Irene Toth, 102, of Corning, Ohio died at 4:24pm on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at The Morrison House, Genesis Hospice in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born February 23, 1922 in Corning, Ohio to the late James and Theresa Barrett.
She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church of Corning and a loyal member of the Corning Eagles Auxiliary. She loved her family, grandkids, great- grandkids and the Barrett family reunions; serving her famous cabbage rolls and Hungarian sausage. She was very proud of her Hungarian heritage and loved making delicious Hungarian dinners to share with her family.
Survived by son, John A. Toth Jr. of Zanesville; grandchildren, John Eric Toth, Jamie Ann (Tom) Carney and Rory Lee (Debbie) Toth; great – grandchildren, Trace Robert Carney, Ryan Logan Toth, Kaylie Marie Toth and Aydan John Toth; sister, Margaret Mingus and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents preceded in death by her husband, John Toth Sr.; Daughter – in – law, Nancy Toth and 2 brothers and 7 sisters.
Calling hours will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio, with burial immediately following at the Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery, Millertown Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street New Lexington, Ohio 43764 to assist family with funeral expenses.
