James E. Downs

James E. Downs, 66, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on June 19, 1959.

James will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The memories he created and the time shared with him will be cherished forever. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

James was preceded in death by his parents and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 11am-2pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm.

James will be laid to rest at Community Gardens Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
