James C. Winnenberg, 67, of New Lexington passed away on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Fair Hope Hospice-The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born November 29, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joseph and Rosemary Altier Winnenberg.
James loved hid children and grandchildren, critters, motorcycles, woodworking, music, junk food, The New York Yankees and The Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kimberly A. Beatty Winnenberg; children, Jennifer (Justin) Good, James “Jay” (Maria) Winnenberg, Joe (Katie Hook) Winnenberg, Jeff, Kyle, and Kelsey Livingston; grandchildren Dylan (Breanna Barker) Winnenberg, Hannah (Andrew) Daubenmire, Carter Winnenberg, Haley Winnenberg, Ellie Bentley, K.J. Livingston, Carson Hook, Cade Winnenberg, Heyden and Payton Good; great-grandchildren, Delilah Boggs and Iris Daubenmire; sisters, Jody ( Tom) Dascenzo and Marty (Bob) Yinger and brother, Pat Winnenberg.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife of 30 years, Patty Heavener Winnenberg and infant son Nicholas Winnenberg.
A graveside funeral and burial will held at 11:00am on Friday December 8, 2023 at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
