JoAnn (McGreevy) Shreves

JoAnn Shreves, 84, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 3:46pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Genesis-Perry County Medical Center Emergency Department, Somerset, Ohio.

Born July 9, 1935 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late William and Goldie Wilson McGreevy.

Joann was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington; she liked camping, playing cards and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survived by her children, Jeff (Cheryl) Shreves, Keith Shreves, Kim (Patrick) Houk, Debbie (Rick) Houk, Dee Ann (Donnie) Boring and Patty Ann Clinton; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue McGreevy and a cousin, Judy Nash.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Max Shreves on May 28, 2006; sons, Kurt Shreves and Michael Shreves; brother, Tom McGreevy.

Given current public health concerns, private calling hours and services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Michael Hartge and Deacon Mark Weiner officiating.

Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
