Joan E. (Cable) Glass

Joan E. Glass, 84, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 9:33pm on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Born April 9, 1939 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Hugh and Jennie Belle Adkins Cable.

Joan was Methodist by faith; she loved bowling, sewing, yard sales, cooking and most importantly spending time with her sisters.

Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Rodney E. Glass; children, Lora (Paul) Meikle, Scott (Janet) Glass and Amy Glass-Slivka; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Donna) Cable and Gene (Dee) Cable; sister, Evelyn Chappelear; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her son, Randy Glass; brothers,  Wayne, Lawrence, Bill and Sam Cable; sisters,  Brenda Abram, Nancy Kirkbride and Lil Heiney.

Calling hours will be held 9am-11am with funeral service at 11am with Pastor Rick Cline officiating on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
