John D. Elias

John D. Elias, 78, of Junction City, Ohio died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born on October 23, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Frank and Margaret Elias.

John was a professional painter all of his life but, loved fishing and cooking with family and friends.

He is survived by wife, Nancy Sue Elias of Junction City, Ohio; children, Frank (Wendy) Elias of Junction City, Ohio and Cher (Richie) Sheline of Logan Ohio; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Emma Walraven of Ray, Ohio, Betty Freeman of Dayton, Ohio and Shirley Whitmoore of Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to his parents preceded in death by son, John D. Elias Jr.; brothers, Jim and Frank Elias and sisters, Margaret Epling and Mary Bennett.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the funeral home with Reverend Richard Newlon Officiating.

Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery, Junction city, Ohio
