John Wesley Jones

John Wesley Jones, 83, of Hemlock, Ohio died at 4:20am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his home.

Born December 18, 1941 in Hocking County, Ohio to the late Harold Franklin and Mary Whooley Jones.

John was a United States Army Veteran and member of the Ohio National Guard; retired truck driver from Walmart and he loved hunting and fishing and most importantly he loved his grandkids.

Survived by his wife of 40 years, Roseanna Shell Jones; step-son, Todd (Gina) Sinift; step-daughter, Tonya (Justin) Moyer; grandson, J.R. (Megan) Vorhees; step-grandchildren, Destiny, Dakota, Rainon, Eli and Jaxon; step-great-grandchildren, Walker and Charlee.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a daughter, Lora; step-father, Harold Smith; sister, Leitha and 2 grandchildren, Vanessa and Jared.

Graveside Funeral Service and Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery, Millertown, Ohio with Pastor Mike Moler officiating with military services by Corning American Legion Post # 327.
