Josephine Lane (Rebholz) Strohl

Josephine Lane Strohl, 88, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2023, in Newark, Ohio.

Born October 6, 1934 in Norwood, Ohio to the late Joseph and Catherine Lane Rebholz.

Josephine was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Somerset, Ohio; she was a seamstress and was very crafty. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Survived by her son, Richard Dale (Patsy) Vansickle, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter James Strohl; sons, Joseph and Thomas Vansickle; daughters, Lisa Parnell and Barbara Roush and one grandchild, Cobi Roush

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Somerset, Ohio with Father Andre-Joseph Lacasse as celebrant.

Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Somerset, Ohio.
