Julianna Allen

Julianna Allen, 93, of New Lexington, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Genesis Perry County Emergency Department in Somerset, Ohio.

Born June 5, 1932 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Calvin and Carol Jeffers Gorby.

Julianna was a homemaker. She loved the Lord deeply and loved her family wholeheartedly. She was a very dedicated member of Grace Community Church of the Nazarene. Julianna was good to God and her neighbors. She always said “There’s good in everybody.” She was a strong lady--a force to be reckoned with. 

Survived by her 5 children, Robin Allen; Richard (Rochelle) Allen; Russell (Adele) Allen; Randall (Valerie) Allen; Susan Allen; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Jerry Allen; daughter, Shirley Kay Jenkins; and her siblings, Jesse, Marian, Royal, and John.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm with a funeral service at 1:00pm officiated by Pastor Jeff Gilkerson on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Grace Community Church of the Nazarene, 7945 Tunnel Hill Rd, New Lexington, Ohio.

Burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery.
