Karen R. (Boles) Patterson

Karen R. Patterson, 66, of New Lexington, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at her home in New Lexington, Ohio.

She was born November 14, 1958 in Baytown, Texas to the late James and Glenna Williams Boles.

Karen graduated from Teays Valley High School in 1977.

Survived by her daughters, Holly (John) Voorhies and Suzanne (Nate) Jones; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Terri Boles Mets, Valarie Boles Morris and Anita Thompson. Karen had 2 lifelong friends from high school, Gloria Watters and Theresa Bartholic Baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Patterson; grandmother, Suzanne Dumolt “Granny Sue”; son-in-law, Tyler Miller and nephew, Tyler Thompson.

Karen did not want any service and she will be interred alongside her deceased husband, Rick at Kingwood Memorial Park in Delaware, Ohio.
