Kenneth Leroy Smith

Kenneth Leroy Smith, 81, of Shawnee, Ohio died Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home.

 Born March 16, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio.

 Kenneth was a self-employed carpet layer; he was a wonderful husband and he loved camping and fishing with his sons and grandkids; he had a very giving heart.

 Survived by his wife of 38 years, Jodell Ruh Smith; sons, Kenny (Kathy) Smith and Wayne (Michelle) Smith; daughter, Tonya and BJ Rogers; sons, Scott (Michelle) Manlet and Bryan Myer; mother-in-law, Evelyn Ruh; brother-in-law, Robert (Denise) Ruh; sister-in-law, Theresa (John) Kestelick; numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and friends.

 Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Smith, Sr.; grandson, Brandon Smith and a sister, Kitty Grodhaus.

 No calling hours or funeral service will be held; cremation will take place.

 Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio in charge of arrangements.
