Linda K. (Groves) Hankinson

Linda K. Hankinson, 77, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 3:33am on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Altercare, Somerset, Ohio.

Born January 19, 1946 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Eugene A. Groves and Ruth B. James Groves.

Linda was a factory worker for many years with a strong work ethic. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and followed closely all her grandchildren’s sporting events; member of Saint Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington.

Survived by her four children, Todd (Karla) Groves of Zanesville, Stacey Bell (Marty Vann) of New Lexington, Kimberly Hankinson (Dave Kennedy) of Junction City and Christopher Hankinson (Maticia) of New Lexington; eight grandchildren, Keianna, Nicholas, Kollin, Laurel, Trey, Brady, Abigail, Dane; four great children, Ali, Aniah, Ace, Ava; one sister Janice Hilyard and one sister-in-law Arline Groves.

In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husband James Hankinson, brothers, Robert Groves, Max Groves, and sister, Georgia Tracey.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11am on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the funeral home with Father Todd Lehigh officiating.

Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
