Linda (Newman) Pierce

Linda L. Pierce, 77, of Junction City passed away January 1, 2024 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

She was born July 29, 1946 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late John and Emma Lutz Newman.

Linda was a member of the Good Shepherd Church of Lancaster. She loved to go to Tennessee, cooking, Coke, traveling, camping, and she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Pierce; two daughters, Jodie Staley and Sherry Pierce; grandchildren, Emily Gilgien, Brittany Leach, Kyle Pierce, Charles Pierce, Meagan Staffan-Pierce; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Soliday and Sandy Wolfe.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Pierce; grandson, Eric Gilgien and brother, John Newmam, Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Good Shepherd Church, 700 Spring Street, Lancaster, Ohio with Pastor James Dexter officiating.
