Loretta A. Love

Loretta A. Love, 96, of New Lexington, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

She was born March 16, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio to Homer and Nellie (Cannon) Snider.

Loretta was a member of the Covenant Community Church. She enjoyed her flower garden and canning, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family. A special thank you to her caregivers that fulfilled her wish to remain in her home.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda K. (Merle) Sheumaker; two grandchildren, Tammy (Keith) Smith of Laurelville, Ohio and Shane (Karen) Love of Crooksville, Ohio; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, Marlee and Jackson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Warden W. Love; two sons, Thomas E. Love and James W. Love; brothers, Robert Snider, Joe Snider, Reverend William Snider; and sister, Marguerite Brown.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the funeral home with Reverend Sanford Short officiating.

Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Bremen, Ohio.
