Margaret M. (Paxson-Lemity) Nixon, 91 of Moxahala, Ohio died at 3:00 am on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the New Lexington Care & Rehabilitation Center in New Lexington, Ohio.
Born July 9, 1931 at home to the late Charles and Margaret E. (Smith) Paxson.
Margaret was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend to all. She was a member of Moxahala U.M.Church; a retired hairdresser and retired from Hamilton Standard. She loved cats, liked working in her flowers, cleaning house and especially loved her kids and grandkids.
She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Dianna (Mike) Fabiny and JoEllen (Fred) Alfman; five grandchildren, Jason (Jessi) Fabiny, Jared (Nina) Fabiny, Nicholas (Chelsea) Alfman, Jessica (Charlie) Elkins and Ashley (Justin) Howard; seven great-grandchildren, Avery Alfman, Tanner Howard, Pace, Pax and Pierce Fabiny, Emalynn Elkins, Clayton Fabiny; step-granddaughter, Corbyn Antrim; sister-in-law, Florence Paxson and brother-in-law, Robert McPherson and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur Lemity and Donald Nixon; sisters and brothers, Rose (Otto) White, Martha (William) Wiseman, Wilbur (Hazel) Paxson, Elmer (Wanda) Paxson, Doris Boyd, Lester Paxson, Beulah (Jack, Jay) McCormick Smith and infant brothers, Melvin and Marvin Paxson.
Special thanks to all her caregivers at home, at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation and to Hospice of Central Ohio.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023 and 10-11 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am at the Moxahala United Methodist Church, Moxahala, Ohio with Pastor Ruth Messick officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakfield Cemetery, Oakfield, Ohio.
